1st Of Tha Month | Bone Thugs-N-Harmony
Relevant.
Every first of the month, my oldest sister and I would blast this in my middle sister’s bedroom because she would sleep until the afternoon.

Matisyahu - Late Night in Zion
Only one who’ll get us out of this mess,
The one who put us here.
I’ve got a spear driven through my ear.
Can’t you hear the sound, crystal clear,
Pistols crashing chandeliers,
Long for brooks of water like the deer
A man is just a man, filled with faults and weakness.
4 AM, Jerusalem, all alone and speechless.
Nightime nobody’s home, Roam streets of darkness.
I feel I’m just a man, flesh and bones homeless.
What she said.

BLINK-182 :’]
Kinsey was. Until they broke up. Anyone remember them~~~
Modest Mouse is from the town that my town is kind of grouped into.
They dropped out of the high school that rivals mine.
They’re all dicks, from what I’ve heard.kaiser chiefs are the only one i can think of because i see the keyboardist every now and then, he lives about a 3 minute drive away from the shop i work in. also 1/5 of the spice girls.
The Almost is from Clearwater. Underoath is from Tampa. Anberlin is from Winter Haven. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were from Gainsville. Against Me and Less Than Jake are from there too. Dashboard Confessional and that sexy Chris Carrabba are from Boca Raton. And sure, Florida had BSB and Nsync plus most other boy bands from back in the day. Plus Limp Bizkit was from Jacksonville. And I hear Marilyn Manson is from Florida too. Not something I would go bragging about though.
Province: Metric, pretty much the only Canadian band/artist I like.
City: Uh, Alanis Morissette?
State: John Mayer. Meh. Hatebreed. Double Meh. Oh! The Carpenters and Dashboard Confessional!
City: Peter Tork from The Monkees went to my high school for a bit. …Apathy. ):<
Best of What's Next: fun.
PASTE Magazine is highlighting ‘Fun’ with their debut album “Aim and Ignite” and I could not agree more. Pop music at its best.
I can’t believe this came out in 2004. It feels like it came out earlier than that.
Sum 41’s All Killer, No Filler will always equal seventh / eighth grade for me. More specifically, the summer between (“Heart Attack” especially). “Crazy Amanda Bunkface” just came on shuffle and I feel like this is a profound moment. I don’t think anyone else will get it (except maybe Mindy, but nevermind that).
In the song he says, “I’m sorry I’m just not as keen on planning out our perfect lives when I’m only 19.” I remember being 12 / 13 thinking that being 19 years old was a world and a half away. I didn’t think I would relate to the lyrics (as I didn’t at the time, either), but just that being that old - trying to grasp that concept of who I could become - was far beyond my reach.
I’m 21. 19 feels like such a long time ago, but 13 (still) feels like yesterday.
(28 plays)The Vines - Autumn Shade
Slip into the autumn shade
I could sleep for days
But I like the sun when
I can hear another sound
It’s a long way down
Keep my head up
Who am I to be this way
(I’ve been) dreamin so insane
But I like the sun when
Falling through another plane
Never one the same
Keep my head up…
Magic Marker
made me stop what I was doing and demanded I listen to it.
Why I'll never get laid:
I love this song.
